Kazakh universities and OIC interested in developing coop
The parties pointed out the importance of developing cooperation on science and technology, education, food security, agriculture and other areas, the Kazakh Foreign Affairs Ministry informed.
During a visit to Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), Rector of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Dr.Galymkair Mutanov, Rector of the Kazakh National Agrarian University Dr.Tlektes Espolov and Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia H.E.Mr.Berik Aryn visited the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's headquarter where they met with the Assistant Secretary General for Economic Affairs H.E.Mr.Ahmed Ssenyomo, General Director of the Department of Science and technology Mr. Irfan Shaukat and other officials.
During the meetings, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening cooperation between Kazakh universities and the OIC. In particular, the parties pointed out the importance of developing cooperation on science and technology, education, food security, agriculture and other areas.
