Kazakh Senate Speaker commentates on 4th Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian countries’ Parliaments
The Meeting’s agenda was very full and up-to-date. There was free, engaging and productive multilateral dialogue, Dariga Nazarbayeva, Speaker of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, said, Strategy2050.kz informs.
The Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan wrapped up the 4th Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments of Eurasian Countries dubbed “Greater Eurasia: Dialogue.Trust.Partnership”, that merged parliamentary delegations from 65 countries of Europe and Asia and representatives of 14 international parliamentary organizations.
According to the Kazakh Senate Speaker, the spirit and ambience of the forum committed all the participants to productive dialogue, to find mutual understanding points, that is, something that brings us together.
She said that Kazakhstan alongside Russia, South Korea, and Turkey tuned into an effective platform for discussion the pressing issues of cooperation of Europe and Asia.
“The Summit gave all the counterparts an opportunity for informal and informal trustful communication. Here, at the political platform, at the heart of Eurasia, there was the atmosphere of friendship, candour and delight”, she commentates.
During the days of the 4th Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian countries’ Parliaments, Senate Speaker Dariga Nazarbayeva held multiple meetings.
“Such meetings are of very high importance as they develop trustful relations between heads of parliament. They also can bring about new ideas and joint projects to tackle pressing issues. They also help to raise trust and mutual understanding, to focus on the world’s interests and mutually beneficial cooperation among Eurasian countries”, she said.
She went on to say that the ideas put forward by first Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev 25 years ago live and expand determining integration processes in Eurasia and giving an incentive to the geopolitical and integration economic initiatives that formed Eurasia as it is today.
“The Eurasian idea of Nazarbayev inspired the entire generation of European and Asian politicians for a new better integration, the 21st century’s integration”, she said.
She added that we can observe the occurrence of Greater Eurasia over the past decade.
“The idea of Great Eurasia brings about a special ambience of trust, cooperation in all spheres, implying that it will promote peace in the Eurasian space and prosperity to its nations. That idea is eternal and normal as life itself. Huge work is about to be done to realize that idea. The Meeting proved that it is possible, and it will be”, the Senate Speaker said.
