Kazakh Prime Minister meets with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister
The Kazakh Prime Minister, Askar Mamin, has had talks with the Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar, Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, primeminister.kz informs.
“Qatar is an important political partner of Kazakhstan in the Arab world as the confidential and open political dialogue has been established between our countries, founded by First President of Kazakhstan – National Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev and the Qatari senior leadership. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, maintaining the continuity in foreign policy, pays great attention to the development of cooperation with Qatar,”the Kazakh Prime Minister said.
The Head of the Kazakh Government has stressed the existence of a huge potential to foster cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian and other fields.
The countries enjoy a visa-free regime, and direct flights between Nur-Sultan and Doha are about to be launched by this December. Direct flights will also operate between Almaty and Doha 7 times a week, as well as 7 cargo flights a week with fifth freedom of the air following the recent introduction of open skies regime in Kazakhstan.
The sides discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the tourism, transport, healthcare, education and other fields.
