Kazakh President to pay an official visit to Germany

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is to pay an official visit to the Federative Republic of Germany on 5-6 December 2019, Strategy.2050.kz cites the Facebook post of the Head of State’s press secretary, Berik Uali.
“Negotiations with Chancellor Angela Merkel are due to take place, during which the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Germany will be considered. The visit program also includes meetings with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Bundestag Chairman Wolfgang Schäuble,” the post reads.
He has also informed that in Berlin, on 6 December, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will address prominent politicians and public figures, representatives of German government bodies, members of the Germany-Central Asia parliamentary friendship group, as well as will take part in the 28th meeting of the Berlin Eurasian Club, hold meetings with the leaders of German companies.
