Kazakh President receives New Year congratulations from world leaders
The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, receives congratulations on the upcoming New Year from the heads of foreign states and international organizations, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in his New Year's greetings noted that the outgoing year was marked for Kazakhstan by significant events, a constitutional transfer of power and a convincing victory in the election of the Head of State.
“It is important that we managed not only to fully preserve the accumulated potential of Russian-Kazakh relations, but also to continue working together to strengthen strategic partnership, alliance and good neighborliness. The coordination of the efforts of Moscow and Nur-Sultan within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and other multilateral structures gave good gains. I am convinced that in the coming year, the interaction between our states will develop in an upward fashion,” the Russian leader’s letter reads.
President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov sent his sincere congratulations on the upcoming 2020 and wished the people of Kazakhstan peace and prosperity.
“I express confidence that in the New Year our joint efforts will serve the further successful development of bilateral strategic partnership and alliance relations for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan,” Sooronbay Jeenbekov wished.
President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in and First Lady Kim Jung-sook on behalf of the Korean people congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the upcoming New Year.
“Your support and cooperation in establishing peace on the Korean Peninsula is a source of confidence for the Korean people. Korea will continue to build an inclusive and sustainable peace with the international community,” the telegram says.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and First Lady Rula Ghani, President of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda and First Lady Diana Nausėdienė, Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Long and his wife, Governor-General of Canada Julie Payette, Chairman of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matvienko, Director General of the World Trade Organization Roberto Azevêdo also sent their congratulations to the Head of State.
