Kazakh President met with former Slovenian President Danilo Turk
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had a meeting with former Slovenian President Danilo Turk, who is in Nur-Sultan to partake in the meeting of the international discussion platform Astana Club, Akorda informs.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Danilo Turk deliberated on the development of the United Nations, exchanged the views on the pressing issues of international agenda, stressing the need for stronger multilateral cooperation in all the spheres, particularly in the economy.
Expressing the hope that the upcoming WTO Ministerial Conference, to be held in June 2020 in Nur-Sultan, will be a success, the Slovenian politician pointed out that Kazakhstan rightfully plays an active role in multilateral activities, including trade, peace and security.
