Kazakh Paralympic athletes won 43 medals at Belarus Open Swimming Championships
On 25-26 January 2020, the Republic of Belarus held the Open Swimming Championships among athletes with visual and motor disabilities, the Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan reports.
The Open Belarus Swimming Championships took place under the auspices of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and saw over 150 athletes from 7 countries (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Ukraine, Lithuania, Moldova and Belarus).
The National Paralympic Team’s 15 athletes represented Kazakhstan. They managed to win 43 medals, including 21gold, 13 silver and 9 bronze.
The athletes’ results are due to be included in the International Paralympic Committee’s 2020 World Rankings.
