Kazakh-Japanese film released in Japan

Kazakh-Japanese fictional film “The Horse Thieves. Roads Of Time” directed by Yerlan Nurmukhambetov (Kazakhstan) and Lisa Takeba (Japan) was presented at the Shinjuku Cinema Theater in Tokyo, Strategy2050.kz refers to the press service of Kazakhfilm.

The film was represented to the Japanese public by famous Japanese actor Mirai Moriyama and co-director Lisa Takeba.

“The shooting took place in Kazakhstan, and I was very impressed with the local nature. I am very glad that our viewers will see this beauty. The film set was far from major cities, it was not always easy, but every day shooting was a real treasure for me. The Kazakhstan team was on top. Of course, I am very glad that I was given this role. The time spent in Kazakhstan was a very valuable experience for me. I'd like to return there and meet everyone”, actor Mirai Moriyama said.

It is worth noting that Japanese viewers liked the film very much.

The film is released in Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto and other cities in Japan.

It should be noted that the film premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival, and the world premiere was held at the opening ceremony of the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.

Kazakhstan’s side in the production of the film “The Horse Thieves. Roads Of Time” was represented by the film studio Kazakhfilm named after Sh. Aimanov by order of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan, and Japan - Tokyo New Cinema.
