Kazakh Firuza Sharipova gives up her sports career
Kazakh female boxer Firuza Sharipova announces the end of her sports career on her Instagram page, Strategy2050.kz reports.
“Dear friends! I decide to end my sports career. I thank my coaches, my manager, and team for the excellent job! Together we broke a number of records of Kazakhstan. No one has ever reached such great achievements in professional boxing in such a short time. Unfortunately, we were one step away from the main title in professional boxing. We were prepared to win the WBC champion title for Kazakhstan in 2018, but could not mostly because of financial issues. We were sure that there would be the funds to hold the fight for the WBC champion title, but the money was not given. For over two years I stayed in shape to be ready to fight for the title.
I am tired of waiting as it takes a lot of effort, nerves and money. Unfortunately, there are no prospects in transforming these efforts to results. During this time there were many encouraging promises, but unfortunately they remained mere promises. Life goes on, and there is no pint in waiting in vain. Many thanks to all my fans and each and every one for support. I am sorry for not bring you joy of winning the main title. I tried my best, however, not everything is up to me in this world,” she writes on the Instagram.
