Kazakh Ambassador familiarized Mexican students with Presidential Address
Kazakh Ambassador to Mexico Andrian Yelemessov presented the basic principles and provisions of the state-of-the-nation address of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the conference dubbed "Kazakhstan –Central Asian Leader" in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) on 22 October 2019 in Mexico city, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry informs.
UNAM authorities and professors, political science, sociology and international relations students and local media representatives were in attendance.
It was brought to the attention of the conference that economic changes and social support of youth are in the spotlight of the presidential address.
Director of the Higher Education Faculty Mr. Manuel Martinez Justo shared his view, saying that Mexico, like Kazakhstan, is in the stage of important state and social reforms and that the issues the address touches upon are useful for the Mexican society.

The Conference saw the Kazakh diplomat respond the questions from the audience, discuss Kazakhstan’s political structure and the on-going reforms.
With 400 thousand bachelor’s and master’s degree students, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) is among large universities in North and Latin America.
