Kazakh Ambassador presented credentials to President of the Dominican Republic
Kazakh Ambassador Andrian Yelemessov handed over the credentials to President of the Dominican Republic Danilo Medina Sánchez during the 10 October 2019 solemn ceremony, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.
Miguel Vargas, Dominican Foreign Minister, as well as the country’s policy-makers were present.
During the talks, held in a friendly atmosphere, the Kazakh ambassador assured the Dominican President that he would spare no effort to elevate the bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
He went on to say that the rich potential that exists between the two countries shows promise for greater and deeper mutually beneficial relations.
Danilo Medina Sánchez sent Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev greetings and wished success in the ambassador’s diplomatic mission. He stressed that Santo Domingo has a stake in friendly relations with Kazakhstan as a regional leader, and looks forward to developing bilateral dialogue on all questions of the bilateral and international agendas.
Given the two countries’ tourism capacity, the soon-to-be-signed visa waiver agreement thought to open up great opportunities for activating relations on various fronts was outlined.
