Kazakh Ambassador met with Secretary of State of Swiss Foreign Ministry
Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Kairat Abdrakhmanov, met with Secretary of State of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Robert Rydberg, Strategy2050.kz informs.
They discussed various aspects of friendly Kazakh-Swedish relations and ways to deepen them in the political, trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The sides also exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda.
The parties will closely cooperate in the context of Sweden’s upcoming OSCE Chairmanship in 2021: such an experience of Kazakhstan in 2010 led to the convening of the only Summit of the largest regional organization in the city of Nur-Sultan and the adoption of the Astana Declaration, the demand for which is especially high today amid the challenges facing the OSCE.
Kazakhstan and Sweden successfully completed their missions as non-permanent members of the UN Security Council in 2017-2018 and continue to work together to advance globally, in particular non-proliferation issues.
