Kassym-Jomart Tokayev meets with Aleksandr Lukashenko

During the talks, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the official visit of Aleksandr Lukashenko would give a powerful impetus to the development of the Kazakh-Belarusian strategic partnership and economic cooperation.

“Aleksandr Grigoryevich, your stay here is a welcome event for us. Since this is a good opportunity to confirm absolutely friendly relations and cooperation between our states. This is a good opportunity to give a very serious impetus to the business partnership between our states. Whether it is a sphere of the economy, humanitarian relations or international cooperation”, the President of Kazakhstan said.

The Head of State noted that in Kazakhstan, Aleksandr Lukashenko is treated with sincere respect as an outstanding statesman, who actually stood at the origins of Belarus’s independence.

Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the warm welcome and emphasized the historically established friendly nature of relations between the two countries.

“I’d like to note that our relations with Kazakhstan are close, our economies are mutually supportive, we always create new opportunities for each other. Everything that we produce in the country, Kazakhstan needs it, everything that you produce in Kazakhstan, we are ready to purchase with great pleasure”, the President of Belarus noted.
