President Tokayev congratulated Abdizhamil Nurpeissov on his 95th anniversary

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to people’s writer of Kazakhstan, State Prize laureate Abdizhamil Nurpeissov on his 95th anniversary, Akorda’s press service informs.
“For your enormous contribution to the development of country’s literature and culture, you have earned recognition as an outstanding writer and patriarch of oral tradition. We are proud of you as the unique person among Kazakh writers”, the telegram reads.
The Head of State emphasized that the “Blood and Sweat” and “Last Duty” novels, which were included in the golden collection of Kazakh art work, have become the spiritual heritage of the world literature. Based on the appeal to universal values, the writer told the whole world about the fate of his people.
“Your original works have reflected the problem of the Aral Sea, disturbing everyone. You managed to tell humanity about the aspirations of your people and won the unlimited attention of readers”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev writes.
The President wished the writer long life and new creative achievements.
