Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrives in Almaty
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Almaty as part of his two-day visit, Strategy2050.kz cites the President’s Press Secretary Berik Uali.
“Today, the President is about to hear a presentation on the Zhana Almaty (New Almaty) programme, as well as to hand over the keys to the apartments to inmates of children’s homes, and to attend a meeting on the social and economic development of Almaty,” Berik Uali writes on Facebook.
The President is due to tour the innovation cluster Tech Garden, the Investment House, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to inspect academic buildings and Students Service Center Keremet.
The visit’s second day will see the Head of State hold meetings at Almaty’s Presidential Residence.
