Jordan's Middle East University to open Kazakh Corner
Kazakh Ambassador to Jordan Aidarbek Toumatov paid a visit on November 24, 2019 to the Middle East University, Jordan’s large higher educational institution, where he delivered a lecture on the key stages of Kazakhstan’s development, international initiatives and prospects of relations between Kazakhstan and Jordan, the Kazakh foreign ministry informs.
During the visit a meeting of the Kazakh diplomatic mission’s head and the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees Yakub Nasedreddin took place that discussed the ways and directions towards deepening educational and scientific cooperation.
For its part, the Jordanian side spoke of the cooperation with Kazakhstan’s International University Silkway, expressing an interest in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, including through the exchange of educational programs, teaching staff and students, as well as training Arabic language specialists, etc. In addition, the University’s leadership demonstrated its readiness to open a Kazakh Corner at the University.
