Jordan’s airlines can run regular flights to 11 Kazakh airports
Under the open skies regime, on behalf of the Kazakh President, the Kazakh Industry and Infrastructure Development Ministry, together with the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Jordan, is actively working on launching new international routes and attracting new foreign airlines, Kazakhstan’s Civil Aviation Administration informs.
The Kazakh delegation and the Jordanian aviation authorities have held the talks on 2 December 2019, where it was said that Jordanian airlines have the opportunity to operate regular flights to 11 Kazakh airports (Nur- Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent, Aktau, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Taraz, Petropavlovsk, Semey) without frequency restrictions and with the use of fifth freedom of the air.
The parties together with the Embassy in Jordan are exploring the possibility of opening direct flights from Kazakhstan to the cities of Amman and Aqaba.
