Islamabad to hold 9th session of Kazakh-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission
The 9th session of the Kazakh-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural cooperation is to take place on 27-28 February in Islamabad, the Kazakh foreign ministry’s spokesperson Aibek Smadiyarov said, Strategy2050.kz correspondent reports.
First deputy foreign minister Shakhrat Nuryshev and first deputy minister of foreign affairs Sohail Mahmood will co-chair the Commission.
“There are plans to hold the 1st round of the Kazakh-Pakistani political consultations to discuss the bilateral political cooperation, as well as meetings of the Kazkah delegation with the head of the National Assembly of Pakistan, members of the Kazakh-Pakistani Parliamentary Group of Friendship, heads of government agencies and representatives of the leading analytical centres of Pakistan,” the spokesperson has said.
The above events are expected to give a new trigger to the development between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
