At the plenary session, the deputies of the Mazhilis has approved the Agreement on cooperation of the CIS member states in the fight against information technology crimes.
“Just last week, at the Security Council meeting chaired by first Kazakh President – National Leader Nursultan Nazarbayev the issues of information security of the country were discussed, where he outlined the need for international cooperation in this field,” the Mazhilis Speaker said.
Indeed, what makes crimes committed with information technology, stand out is that they are often of transnational nature and committed by criminal groups involving citizens of various countries. Therefore, the fight against that evil requires a concerted effort of not one state, but countries.
