Honorary Consulate of Kazakhstan opened in Kharkiv
Kharkiv city in Ukraine hosted the solemn opening of Kazakhstan’s Honorary Consulate covering Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions. Emin Najafli, a Kharkiv businessman, well-known lawyer in the region with great practical experience and a philanthropist, has become a head of the institution, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Foreign Ministry’s press service.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Samat Ordabayev noted the important role of the Honorary Consulate in the development of Kazakh-Ukrainian relations in all areas of cooperation. Particular emphasis was placed on promoting the interests of Kazakhstan, developing trade and economic cooperation between the countries, as well as protecting the rights and interests of citizens and legal entities of our country.
It should be noted that the eastern region of Ukraine has a powerful economic, scientific and cultural potential. The region has developed chemical, fuel and energy, food and light industries, mechanical engineering, as well as the production of building materials. At the same time, Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions develop the agro-industrial complex very dynamically.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, the city of Kharkiv, deputies of the Kharkiv Regional Council, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business circles of the region, the Kazakh diaspora in Kharkiv, the mass media and others.
