Head of State visited solar power plant in Akmola rgn
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a working trip to Tselinograd district in Akmola region. He visited a solar power plant, Hevel Kazakhstan LLC, built this year, Strategy2050.kz reports referring to Akorda’s press service.
The President was informed about region’s prospects for the green energy development. About 30 billion tenge was invested in the construction of the 100 MW power plant. The annual electricity generation will be more than 148 million kWh. The project used innovative technologies - heterostructured bilateral solar modules, which are the company's own development.

The Head of State noted the importance of using renewable energy sources in Kazakhstan and wished success to the employees of the power plant.
