Head of State visited Digital Center
At the Digital Services Center, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with e-government services that provide services to citizens and guests of the country, Akorda’s press service informs.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was shown the new opportunities and advantages of receiving public services through the eGov mobile application, the social networks Facebook, VKontakte and the Telegram messenger, and also talked about plans to convert up to 90% of public services to digital format by 2020.
“The main thing is quality and speed. I believe that we should be among the advanced countries using high technologies”, the Head of State said.
To date, the Digital Center has registered biometric data of 1220 citizens, which gives them the opportunity to receive services without presenting identity documents. The center provides remote video services. Here residents of the capital can learn digital literacy skills.
