Head of State received Serikbek Daukey
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with member of the National Academy of Sciences Serikbek Daukey, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to Akorda’s press service.
During the meeting, they discussed relevant issues of development of the geological industry, the course of reforms carried out after the establishment of the relevant ministry, as well as state and legislative measures to support the study of mineral resources.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was presented with proposals to amend the Subsoil Code, reinforcing the role of the state in conducting geological exploration and rational use of subsoil.
The President noted the particular importance of the further development of the industry, the use of modern scientific methods in order to discover new deposits and increase the reserves of the mineral resource base.
