Head of State received Prosecutor General

Gizat Nurdauletov reported to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on measures taken to ensure compliance with the rule of law in the country in a state of emergency.

The President was informed that General Prosecutor's Office and at the local level created operational headquarters for the timely legal assessment of actions and decisions.

Gizat Nurdauletov spoke about the measures that law enforcement agencies are taking to prevent an artificial shortage of individual medical remedies, to counteract the dissemination of false and provocative information, as well as regarding violations of the state of emergency.

The Head of State drew attention to the importance of observing the rights of citizens, the interests of society and ensuring the rule of law in the context of temporary restrictive measures.
