Head of State received Askar Mamin and Dariga Nazarbayeva
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Prime Minister Askar Mamin and Chairwoman of the Senate of Parliament Dariga Nazarbayeva, Strategy2050.kz reports citing the Akorda’s press service.
Prime Minister Askar Mamin reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on pressing issues of socio-economic development, measures taken to attract foreign investment, implementation of public-private partnership projects, and regional development. In addition, Askar Mamin informed the President about the draft specifying the republican budget for 2019.
The Head of State instructed the Prime Minister to begin preparations for an expanded meeting on economic development in mid-October.
The Senate Chairperson informed Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about the current activities of the Upper House of Parliament, as well as the plan of legislative work.
The President noted the special importance of high-quality legislative support of the main provisions of the Address.
