Head of State met with President of Turkmenistan

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has met with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Akorda’s press service reports.
At the meeting, the Presidents noted the high level of political dialogue between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, which is confidential and transparent.
The President of Kazakhstan thanked the Turkmen leader for the hospitality and noted his contribution to the development of Kazakh-Turkmen relations.
“I am grateful to you for the hospitality that was provided to me from the first minutes of my stay on the sacred Turkmen land. I am glad to be back in the city of Ashgabat, which amazes with its beauty. A representative delegation has come with me. We have a number of promising projects. I believe that cooperation between our countries is developing in an ascending line. There is a great merit of First President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev, and, of course, your merit”, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

The Heads of State discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, the situation in the region, as well as interaction within the framework of various international formats.
