Head of State has been informed about social entrepreneurship
The Kazakh President has held a meeting with Head of the Green TAL social workshop, Vice President of the Best for kids Public Fund Emin Askerov, Director of Dastarkhan LLP Yelena Maschinskaya and Director of Qamqor Otau (Caring family) Centre for independent living, Coordinator of the Training cafe social project Bakytzhan Khudiyarov, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Akorda press service.
The entrepreneurs have updated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the current state of social entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan and the prospects of development. They have also shared the pressing problems in this area, highlighting the lack of premises and sales points.
They have commended the support measures provided by the State and reported on plans to hold the first nation-wide forum of social entrepreneurs in the coming fall.
Expressing gratitude for the projects of use to society, President Tokayev has approved the idea of holding the forum and stressed that the State will continue to support social businesses.
