Gold mining enterprise to be built in Zhambyl rgn
Governor of the region Askar Myrzakhmetov met with representatives of the Aurum Deutschland company, who are planning to build a gold mining enterprise in Kordai district, Strategy2050.kz reports.
The press service of the Governor’s Office informs that the German investors are going to invest 329 million euros, the project’s implementation time is 9 years.
According to the idea, this year it is necessary to complete a project of a mining and processing plant, and in the next year, to proceed directly with the construction of the enterprise with a capacity of up to five tons of gold per year.
“So far, the local authorities are allocating 300 hectares of land for these purposes, 350 people will be involved in the construction work. After commissioning, 800 permanent workplaces will be created in the production”, the message reads.
Askar Myrzakhmetov suggested not wasting time and moving from words to action. The local authorities will create all necessary conditions for the investors.
