In his last 12-round bout Kazakh Gennady Golovkin won the IBF and IBO world champion belts, defeating Ukrainian boxer Sergiy Derevyanchenko (13-2, 10kos) by the unanimous decision of the judges, Strategy2050.kz informs.
According to the Athletic Box, GGG might fight against Polish Kamil Szeremeta (21-0, 5kos).
“Gennady Golovkin reportedly already has a deal in place to defend against Kamil Szeremeta next, pending IBF approval for him to count as the mandatory. It's claimed this would take place early next year, unless Canelo wants the trilogy in May.
