Heads of foreign States send congratulatory letters on Independence Day to Kazakh President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives congratulatory letters on the occasion of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan Heads of foreign States, the Akorda press service informs.
The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on behalf of his country and personally, congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the 28th anniversary of independence.
“I am pleased to mark the impressive progress that has been achieved over the past 12 months thanks to our strong partnership. Our cooperation, from addressing issues of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons to the fight against terrorism, makes the world more secure and stable,” the telegram reads.
Donald Trump noted that the Head of State celebrates Independence Day for the first time as President and wished him success in the New Year.
“The United States of America is aimed at fruitful work with you and the Kazakh people in your efforts to build a bright and successful future for Kazakhstan,” the letter reads.
In his telegram, the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, recalled that our countries have long-standing historical ties, and wished Kazakhstan prosperity.
“Relations between India and Kazakhstan are based on historical and cultural ties going back centuries. Multilateral and bilateral relations between our countries have reached the level of strategic partnership. I am convinced that our cooperation will be strengthened,” the letter reads.
On behalf of the people and the Government of Spain, the King of Spain Felipe VI congratulated the President of Kazakhstan on Independence Day and wished the Kazakh people peace and prosperity.
President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah binti Yacob congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the people of Kazakhstan on Independence Day.
“Singapore and Kazakhstan have very warm and friendly relations. I am glad that trade between the two countries is growing, cooperation in the legal and financial spheres is expanding. I look forward to working with you for the benefit of our countries and further strengthening relations,” Halimah binti Yacob’s letter reads.
Congratulations on Independence Day and wishes of well-being were also sent by the President of Austria, Alexander van der Bellen.
“I’m sure that we will be able to successfully continue the interaction between our countries, which is developing very fruitfully in many areas, including economic cooperation,” the telegram reads.
