First President’s Library to hold exhibition on Day of Remembrance of Victims of Political Repressions
The Library of the First President – Elbasy will present a virtual video exhibition on its official website on May 31, the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression, Strategy2050.kz reports.
The exhibition is titled “Memory in the Name of Future”.
This is the first such exhibition prepared in the format of a video. The viewer will be presented with archival documents, photos, videos from the Personal Archive of First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, as well as a thematic collection of books on the state policy of Kazakhstan, aimed at restoring the true facts and preserving the historical memory of the victims of the Soviet totalitarian system.
