Upon Kazakhstan’s request, eight Kazakhs have been taken from Wuhan by Russian and Uzbek special aircraft, Strategy2050.kz reports.
Five of them will stay in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent under the two-week supervision of doctors, and the other three will be under surveillance in Russia’s Tyumen.
Among them was a 1st year student of Yanzi University who was previously not allowed to leave by the epidemiological services of the PRC due to high temperature.
Before boarding, all eight citizens of Kazakhstan underwent an additional medical examination on fever or symptoms of the coronavirus.
On 3 February 2020 Kazakhstan returned 83 citizens from Wuhan, including 80 students.
