EEC Council endorses proposal on EAEU Industrialization Map
Alikhan Smailov, first vice prime minister of Kazakhstan – finance minister, partook in a session of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council, which touched upon the issues relating to internal markets’ functioning, international cooperation, customs and technical regulation, the EAEU’s digital agenda, sanitary and phytosanitary measures, Strategy2050.kz informs with reference to the Kazakh finance ministry’s press service.
The Eurasian Economic Commission presented the information on the ongoing works to break down confiscations, restrictions and barriers to the domestic market of the EAEU.
The EEC Council approved the draft Agreement on pension provisions for workers of the EAEU member States focusing on forming, maintaining and implementing the pension rights of the workers under the same conditions and according to the same procedures applicable to the citizens of the country of employment.
The proposal to elaborate an EAEU industrialization map enabling to observe the EAEU member States’ plans thus timely adjusting them and forming production chains within the EAEU was endorsed.
Following the Kazakh side’s initiative amending by the Russian side the federal law on changes to Article 4 of the Russian Federation Law on “Protection of the consumer rights” was tabled, inviting to add Russia’s law of February 7, 1992, No.2300-I regarding the protection of the consumer rights with a provision that the Russian software should be ensured on certain types of technically complex devices was tabled.
The session saw the adoption of the agenda of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council’s next session, to take place 20 December this year in Saint Petersburg.
