Eastern Kazakhstan’s Expert Council ‘Rukhani Zhangyru’ reviewed new projects
Eastern Kazakhstan has held the final meeting of the Regional Expert Council “Rukhani Zhangyru”, bringing together scientists, experts, representatives of public organizations. The Council has been chaired by the rector of the S.Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University Tolegen Mukhtar, Eastern Kazakhstan Info Centre reports.

For more than two years, the region’s Expert Council has functioned as a dialogue platform for the examination and public monitoring of project implementation, development of recommendations, proposals to carry out the “Rukhani Zhangyru” program. This year, 18 regional projects have been implemented in the region.
Irina Smit, Head of the Department of Internal Politics of Eastern Kazakhstan, presented to the Council members the concept of holding events dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Qunanbaiuly.
Of note is that in 2020 all system projects in the field of culture, education, tourism will be implemented taking into account the tasks of unlocking the potential of the multifaceted creative heritage of great Abai through the prism of modernity.
The Council considered 3 projects - “Adam Bol”, “Khakym Abay”, “Abaytanu”, the purpose of which is to popularize the work of the great thinker, educate young people on the basis of the spiritual heritage of Abay.
Active members of the Expert Council were awarded letters of appreciation for their contribution to the implementation of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program and the article “The Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”: rector of S.Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University M. Tolegen, rector of Shakarim Semey State University M. Yesskendirov, rector of D.Serikbaev Eastern Kazakhstan Technical University Zh. Shaimardanov, deputy head of the regional branch of the Nur Otan party O. Chugunkov, deputy director of IT-Rating V. Kotsur, deputy head of the regional centre “Rukhani Zhagyru” K. Sheryazdanova, employees of S.Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University B. Kelgembaev and A. Nugumanova, director of the Shygys regional centre M. Assanova, an expert of the Institute for forecasting analysis of Eastern Kazakhstan A. Myazin.
In conclusion, the Chairman of the Council noted the great importance of expert support of the “Rukhani Zhangyru” program to increase the efficiency of project implementation and ensure the involvement of citizens in the processes of modernization of public consciousness.
