‘Dombyra’ film got Special jury award in Spain
The short film “Dombyra”, created on order of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, received a special jury prize within the winter season of the Spanish Short Of The Year festival, Strategy2050.kz reports.
The director of the film is Ramazan Khaliolla.
The film describes a moment from the life of a boy playing dombra. Dreaming about his performance, the protagonist loses his favorite instrument.
This award gives an opportunity to participate free in film festivals around the world.
Last year, “Dombyra” was shown as part of the out-of-competition program of the IV Baiqonyr ISFF International Film Festival and received the Broadway Choice Award. The film also won the Best Film Award at the 8th International New Delhi Short Film Festival (Delhi Shorts International Film Festival). Earlier, the short film participated in the program of the IFF Sensus and the 19th IFF Kids First.
