Diplomatic shake-up: Kazakh President names new ambassadors

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has signed the decrees appointing ambassadors, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the Akorda press service.

Abdykarimov Serzhan Oralbayevich has been named the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Azerbaijan, thus discharged from the posts of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Czech Republic and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Slovak Republic.

Batrashev Daulet Kassekenovich has been appointed to the post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Portugal, after being relieved of the post of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Romania.

The new Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Romania has become Rustemov Nurbakh Tutatovich, who earlier served as the Kazakh Ambassador to Hungary, Serbia and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.

Kazakh Ambassador to Thailand Yesbulatova Raushan Kakimseitovna has been additionally appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
