Deputy Governor of Zhambyl rgn appointed
Almas Madiyev was appointed Deputy Governor of Zhambyl region with the approval of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Strategy2050.kz reports referring to the press service of the Governor of Zhambyl region.
Almas Madiyev was born in 1972 in Zhambyl region. He graduated from the Zhambyl Technological Institute of Light and Food Industry.
He began his career in 1994 as a teacher at tZhambyl Technological Institute. Over the years, he held different leading positions.
From February 2020 to the present time he has headed the apparatus of the Governor of Zhambyl region.
He will supervise entrepreneurship activities and industrial development, social protection and employment, labor protection and natural resources.
Nurzhan Kalenderov, who previously held this position, was appointed Mayor of Shu district.
