Dariga Nazarbayeva encouraged young entrepreneurs to master modern technologies
Speaker of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, Chairwoman of the Council of Kazakhstan’s Youth Congress Dariga Nazarbayeva has attended the nation-wide forum of best practices titled "Dream! Bring up! Realise!” as part of the ZHASPROJECT project. The Youth Corps Development Project has been realising since 2017 and aims to engage and develop the skills necessary for successful integration into society and productive employment, the Senate press service informs.
Under the project, 2 600 youth initiatives have received funding.
The forum featured an exhibition of products made by the participants, where Dariga Nazarbayeva was presented with the best works, and noted that most projects are aimed at solving specific social problems.
Speaking to the Forum’s participants, the Senate Speaker expressed her support for ZHASPROJECT and encouraged young social entrepreneurs to actively master modern technologies, to monitor their development.
She went on to say that the engagement of young persons with disabilities and special development needs in social and economic life is important. According to her, the society and the State need to pay great attention and care, create all the conditions necessary for their socialisiation and employment.“A step forward not taken today is five steps behind,” she said.
