Danish companies on visit to Kazakhstan to discuss cooperation in agriculture
A delegation of the heads of Danish companies working in the agro-industrial complex arrived on a working visit to Kazakhstan, reports Strategy2050.kz.

The delegation included the heads of such large companies as Chr. Hansen, Breeders of Denmark, Cimbria, Danbred, Robco Engineering, Skiold Group, Skov, and VikingGenetics FMBA, among others. During the visit, the delegates took part in joint round-tables and got acquainted with investment opportunities in the Almaty and Akmola regions.
Danish companies shared their vision of the development of a modern agro-industrial complex in the field of poultry, livestock, grain, and oilseed processing, as well as the transition to sustainable agriculture and the introduction of new breeding solutions using advanced digital technologies.
In turn, the Kazakh side presented the country’s investment potential, opportunities and support mechanisms for business.
“Over the years, the state has been paying great attention to the development of the agro-industrial complex. For the development of the sector, the state is taking a set of measures aimed at its improvement, today there is an increase in gross agricultural production, the formation of new agricultural facilities in the country and an increase in investment in the agricultural sector," said Kazakh Invest Project Manager Samat Almagambetov and encouraged the Danish business to cooperate and create joint ventures in Kazakhstan.
The delegation visited the Akmola region, where they met with the representatives of the regional business community to discuss the potential projects.
Currently, the Danish delegation is on a visit to the Almaty region to get acquainted with the production in the region, as well as participate in a joint round table with representatives of the Almaty region akimat, the Regional Development Center of the Almaty region, and representatives of the business community.
