23 April, 2020 15:21

Humanitarian medical cargo worth more than $1 million and weighing 12 tons was delivered from Shanghai to Almaty, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the StopCov Telegram account.

“This is 12 tons of protective ammunition – face masks, respirators, goggles, reusable suits, infrared thermometers. They were purchased in China for the needs of medical workers, police officers, representatives of military and emergency services of the city”, the message reads.

The cargo was transferred to city Mayor’s Office for distribution among organizations.

It should be noted that the first batch of humanitarian aid arrived from China on April 1.
