Board Chairwoman of the ALE “Association of Ecological Organizations of Kazakhstan” Aigul Solovyova shared her opinion on President’s speech related to ecology issues considered at the extended session of the Government.
According to her, this is the right emphasis that was made by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during the coronavirus pandemic.
“As far as the weakening of the immune system certainly comes from the fact that we have a bad environment. And if we look at the analysis according to international data and statistics, the trend is so that business develops well where there is good ecology”, she stated.
The Board Chairwoman of the “Association of Ecological Organizations of Kazakhstan” explained that the Doing Business and environmental rankings are inextricably linked.
“Countries with the high positions in the environmental ranking have high positions in the Doing Business, as well”, Aigul Solovyova said.
In her words it is impossible to make ecology a priority in a flash.
“We need to educate the future generation and to acculturate ecological culture. I think in this context and in these conditions this is absolutely the right decision-making and the right emphasis that was made by the President”, she concluded.
