‘Baiterek’ Holding employees placed in Presidential Personnel Reserve
Employees of “Baiterek” Holding and its subsidiaries have joined the Presidential Personnel Reserve established in December 2019, the press service of the Baiterek National Managing Holding reports.
The National Commission meeting considered the candidates recommended by the expert commission and ended up with 300 young professionals, who are due to be directed to responsible areas in the public administration system in the short and medium term.
Among the reservists are three Baiterek Holding employees Syrymbet Kaskeyev, chief manager of the Analysis and Research Department, Yernar Mynzhanov, project manager of the Project Finance Department and PPP, and Yernar Suleimenov, general manager of the Legal Support Department.
Other reservists include Baiterek Development employees - Spandiyarkhan Kulmetov, General Manager of the Research and Strategic Development Directorate, and Yerzhan Utyubaev, Development Bank of Kazakhstan employees Yerbolat Dadanbayev, Head of Operational Risk Management Department, Zhulduz Kunanbayeva, General Manager of the Credit Analysis and Structuring Department, Abylaykhan Shaimardanov, General Manager of the Credit Analysis and Transaction Structuring Department, General Manager of the Credit Analysis and Structuring Department; QazTech Ventures employees – Board Chairman Zhandos Shaimardanov and Deputy Chairman of the Board Medet Dyusembayev; Kazakhstan Mortgage Company employees - chief specialist Zharas Moldabayev and a member of the Board of Directors, independent director Damir Suentaev; as well as Deputy Director of the Kostanay regional branch of Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan Kirill Gusev.
“The Presidential Personnel Reserve is a strategically important initiative of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, which forms a new wave of effective managers and builds a system of effective social elevators for the new generation of the country. TOP-300 includes 13 representatives of Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries. This proves that we have highly professional specialists. We value our employees and make all efforts to develop internal resources, including creating conditions for the development of young personnel. The average age of our employees is 36 years,” said Managing Director of the Holding Arman Shamshin.
Total 13 thousand people under the age of 35 submitted applications to participate in the selection, followed by several successive stages.
The first stage is the acceptance of participants' documents. The second stage is testing candidates. The test aims to determine the ability of the applicant to work with complex text and numerical information. The third stage is an assessment of leadership qualities, the level of strategic vision, motivation and values of candidates. To do this, candidates need to write an essay and present their socially significant projects. The fourth stage implies interviewing participants before the Expert Commission, they include those whose results at the previous stages of selection were highest in the aggregate points. The final stage of the selection is when the candidacies of the participants are considered in the National Personnel Reserve Commission.
The Baiterek National Management Holding was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan dated May 22, 2013. The key institution of the Government of Kazakhstan, which meets the advanced standards of corporate governance and ensures the implementation of the tasks for the sustainable development of the economy of Kazakhstan by diversifying it, supporting innovation, developing exports, and increasing labor productivity.
