Autumn issue of Diplomatic Herald is available
The autumn issue of the Diplomatic Herald magazine contains exciting exclusive interviews and articles on various topics of bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry informs.
The issue attaches special attention to the issue of nuclear disarmament, in particular to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) and Kazakhstan's initiatives in the area.
The magazine offers an insightful and comprehensive disclosure and analysis of bilateral and multilateral relations of Kazakhstan with Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Brazil by the leadership of foreign affairs agencies of the said countries.
The statement outlines the first state visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to China referred as one of the most outstanding events of the present quarter. Zhang Xiao, Chinese ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan, contributed to this Diplomatic Herald issue by sharing his accounts on the scope and depth of Kazakh-Chinese relations.
Other issues include: the development of green technologies in Kazakhstan based on the EXPO 2017 heritage; reviews on Akmaral Arystanbekova’s, former Kazakh foreign minister, Kazakhstan’s first permanent representative to the UN, monograph titled “Diplomacy in the modern world”; the book “Who Salim Kurmanguzhin was for me” written by Kazakh diplomat Ilyas Kozybaev.
The outgoing quarter saw a number of personnel shifts in the Foreign Ministry: starting with the senior management and ending with the appointment of more than twenty new heads of foreign missions of Kazakhstan. The information on that is available in the section “Appointments”.
