Another patient tests positive for COVID-19 in Almaty

The Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan has reported on the epidemiological situation as of 8:00 am on March 19, 2020 in Kazakhstan, Strategy2050.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
“One more case of coronavirus infection was detected in Almaty. To date, 37 cases of coronavirus registration have been confirmed in the country, of which 19 in Almaty, 18 in the city of Nur-Sultan”, the Ministry reported.
Official representative of the Healthcare Ministry, Dias Akhmetsharip, said that the patient is a citizen of Russia.
“He is a citizen of Russia, born in 1979. Arrived to us on a flight Moscow - Almaty on March 15. Currently quarantined in a hospital. The state of health is satisfactory”, Dias Ahmetsharip informed.
