“Amre” film screened in Finland’s capital
To celebrate the Independence Day of Kazakhstan, in the city of Helsinki the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Finland with the assistance of Kazakhfilm JSC organized a screening of “Amre” film directed by Jeff Vespa. The picture was shot by “Kazakhfilm” film studio named after Sh. Aimanov by order of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan.
Opening the biographical tape showing, Ambassador Zh. Sartbayeva noted that the film tells how people from different countries can become closer to each other thanks to the phenomenon of music, which is the universal language of mankind and knows no boundaries. Talented Kazakhstani actor Sanzhar Madi, who played the role of Amre, made a welcoming video appeal to the Finnish public.

The guests of the event were able to appreciate the hospitality and enjoy the national flavor under the folk kyuis performed by I. Misambek, a student at AALTO University, and tasting Kazakh traditional cuisine - guests were offered national dishes. Also, all those present participated in an impromptu photo shoot in national costumes.
