Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with President of Constitutional Court of Portugal
Ambassador Daulet Batrashev met with President of the Constitutional Court of Portugal, Manuel da Costa Andrade, Strategy2050.kz reports referring to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh diplomat informed about the modernization of socio-political life and the implementation of economic reforms in Kazakhstan, having focused on the key goals and objectives outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, including the concept of a “hearing state”.
In turn, M. Andrade, noting the prospects and importance of cooperation between the judicial systems of Kazakhstan and Portugal, praised the balanced policy of official Nur-Sultan aimed at the stable development of the state and expressed confidence in further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the adoption of Kazakhstan's Constitution. In this regard, Mr. Batrashev conveyed to the Portuguese leader an invitation to take part in the international conference “The Constitution of the 21st Century - the Rule of Law, Value of Personality and State Effectiveness”, which will be held on August 27-28, 2020 in the capital of Kazakhstan.
The President of the Constitutional Court of Portugal gratefully accepted the invitation and assured that he would do his best for Portugal to participate at the appropriate level in this significant event for Kazakhstan.
In addition, noting the friendly and constructive nature of relations between the two countries, M. Andrade welcomed the opening of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Portugal, which will further strengthen the partnership between Nur-Sultan and Lisbon.
