Aktobe rgn strengthens sanitary and epidemiological control due to coronavirus

According to head of the Department of Quality and Safety Control of Goods and Services of Aktobe region Nursulu Berkimbayeva, the sanitary and epidemiological control has been strengthened at the international airport and railway station in Aktobe city, Strategy2050.kz reports.
"Temporary sanitary-quarantine posts have been organized in the border automobile checkpoints “Zhaisan” of Martuk district and “Alimbet” of Kargaly district. Today, more than 14 thousand people are covered by non-contact temperature measurement. Persons with high fever and complaints have not been identified. Over the past period, about 202 Chinese citizens and Kazakhstanis visited this country were taken for monitoring. 99% of them were removed from monitoring due to the absence of the disease”, the speaker said during a press conference in the Regional Communication Service.
Nursulu Berkimbayeva also reported that there are 52 thousand face masks available in the pharmacies of the region. TK PharmAktobe LLP produced 20 thousand masks.
The head of the Department recalled simple preventive measures, which reduce the risk of infection with the coronavirus, and also urged citizens not to disseminate fake information.
“We urge you not to succumb to false information on social networks and trust only official sources of information”, Nursulu Berkimbayeva added.
