Patents and protection documents to be availabe online

The country's patenting and copyright protection system conforms to international standards. Now we are taking measures to facilitate procedures and reduce terms for obtaining protection documents and make this service available online,"  Berik Imashev inormed.

Meanwhile, the Minister noted this year issues of the intellectual property are included in discussion of  countering counterfeit goods.

"We put up for discussion the issues of combating trafficking in counterfeit, adulterated and substandard products on the Internet,"B. Imashev added.

It should be noted, the  Ministry of Jusitce develop a legislative amendments according to the implementation of the tasks assigned by the President on joining the 30 most competitive countries of the world. 

"The draft provides for the simplification procedure of obtaining protection for industrial property and thereby enhances the investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan market. The draft received a positive assessment by the World Intellectual Property Organization,"the head of the Ministry concluded .
