Kapparov met with U.S. Special Assistant to the U.S. President Celeste Wallander
The meeting was focused on cooperation prospects in ‘green’ economy and environment control, the relevant authority reports.
Besides, EXPO 2017 preparation was touched upon.
Nurlan Kapparov noted under the transfer to green economy, Kazakhstan is interested in sharing of experience and technologies’ transfer, attraction of investments and realization of water infrastructure projects’ fulfilment, wastes recycling and renewable energy resources in C Asia.
In this regard the Minister told about “Green Bridge” Partnership Program, initiated by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and called upon the U.S. to join “Green Bridge” program.
In turn, Celeste Wallander noted the U.S. support Kazakhstan’s transfer to “green economy” and stressed the necessity to develop cooperation in this direction.
