2.8 thousand projects to be subsidized within the “Business Road Map-2020” in Kazakhstan

2,861 projects worth 21 billion tenge were subsidized under the "Business Road Map - 2020" in Kazakhstan, the press service of the Ministry of Regional Development reports.

 

"As a result, 2,861 projects worth 642 billion tenge were sponsored, 204 projects worth 21 billion tenge were guaranteed. The industrial infrastructure is developed for 454 enterprises with total investment of 95.8 billion tenge. 137 first-time entrepreneurs were offered 408 million tenge of grants for start-up projects," message reports.

It was emphasized that 41 thousand beginners and existing entrepreneurs attended "Business Advisor" courses within the non-financial instruments of the program. Over 85,000 services were provided for 24 thousand entrepreneurs.

791 top managers were trained in "Nazarbayev University". 1123 entrepreneurs attended business training on "business contacts", where 64 entrepreneurs were trained in Germany and 82 in the United States.

The greatest number of projects implemented in the manufacturing industry (41%), transport and storage (26%), agriculture, forestry and fisheries (7%), health and social services (6%).

In the manufacturing industry 36% is accounted for food production, 13% for other non-metallic mineral products, and 7% for the production of rubber and plastic products. Thus, the main aim of the program is diversification of the economy and development of the manufacturing industry.

Today, Business Road Map-2020 program is the most effective and popular tool for supporting entrepreneurship and the most recognizable among entrepreneurs. In general, today the Program provides support for more than 36,000 entrepreneurs. As a result 145 thousand jobs have been preserved and 40 thousand new workplaces have been created in the framework of the program.

56 billion tenge taxes were paid within the program. The share of loans under the program is 11.6% of all loans to SMEs.

Today, every 5 new jobs were created in the economy as part of the program. The projects included in the Industrialization Map receive support from the program as well.

These results were achieved due to the flexibility of the program
